YOGA CLASSES


Jenn presents a Yoga class for every age and fitness level. She teaches an easy-to-follow Vinyasa Flow style that will increase flexibility, muscular strength and endurance. Always mindful of individual needs, Jenn encourages participants to use the variations and modifications that she shows during class. Whether you have been practicing Yoga for several years or this is your first class, she will help you balance your Body & Mind with a motivating approach and relaxing atmosphere. Classes are located at MaxHealth Chiropractic. $10.00/class. $1.00 mat rental fee. Blocks and straps are provided at no charge. Please bring a bottle of water.  "My name is John. I have Syringomyelia, along with Arnold-Chiari malformation. This affliction hampers my balance, flexibility, along with loss of feeling and sense of touch. Also, I have had to learn how to walk again. What has Yoga done for me? As far as flexibility goes, just sitting with my legs crossed was very difficult for me. Now, because of yoga, I can not only sit up straight, I can reach in front of me 4-5 inches - I was so excited! Balance-wise, standing on one leg was very frustrating and very difficult. I can now balance on one foot for close to a minute! Feeling in my right leg is slowly coming back. I never thought I would feel warmth or sensation ever again. I take 4 classes of yoga and enjoy the accomplishments I get. Granted, yoga is very difficult for me, but the rewards are far more then I ever dreamed of. I will be taking more yoga classes as I get more balance and flexibility. I take classes with Jenn...the best instructor I could ever hope to have. She listens to my questions and she cares about her students and tries to help then in every way she can."
